Quantum magnetometer is a device for measuring the strength of magnetic fields, based on quantum phenomena. Such phenomena are the free ordered precession of nuclear or electronic magnetic moments, quantum transitions between magnetic sublevels of atoms, as well as quantum changes in the magnetic flux in a superconducting circuit.
