The work of researchers from the University of California at Berkeley raised the question: how does the brain of a person reading a literary work differ from the brain of a person who listens to the same work. In the study, people listened to stories from the popular podcast series The Moth Radio Hour and then read those same stories. The results were published in The Journal of Neuroscience.
