Neuroscientists from the University of California “rejuvenated” the brains of adult mice: scientists were able to reactivate the plasticity of certain areas of the brain, which is characteristic of baby mice during a special, critical period in the development of the central nervous system, when it is most susceptible to learning and easily forms new stable functional connections.
