<p>Russian scientists together with foreign colleagues have discovered a new mechanism by which the electrical activity of neurons is regulated in the brain. Calcium-sensitive potassium ion channels help the neural network transmit high-frequency signals without distortion. The results of the study were published in the journal Science Advances.</p>
