Who are more numerous among Russian scientists—men or women? Is it fair to say that in science, as in some other fields, women suffer from a glass ceiling that prevents them from climbing the career ladder? Scientists from the Center for Institutional Analysis of Science and Education of the European University in St. Petersburg decided to study this phenomenon in more detail, and one of the authors of the study, professor of the Faculty of Sociology and Philosophy Mikhail Sokolov, told N + 1 about the results obtained.
