Atlas of words in the brain

Neurolinguists from the University of California at Berkeley published an amazing article in April 2016 in the journal Nature. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging, they created a “language map of the brain.” Of course, mind reading is still very, very far away, but nevertheless, scientists already know how the brain reacts to various words. In fact, it is a semantic map, a map of the areas where the brain goes for the meaning of words.
